Ollie & Tim’s Warwickshire Tipi Wedding

Ollie and Tim initially met in America at a camp. Tim is from Christchurch in New Zealand and Ollie was brought up in Warwickshire countryside. Ollie moved to New Zealand, with Tim proposing just before Ollie’s family visited. Read their engagement story by clicking here. It was then time for all of the wedding planning.

Ollie and Tim were rather anxious for the wedding. It was most likely to be the first and last time that everyone would be together. Family and friends were traveling from all over; New Zealand, Australia, even America. They wanted everything to be absolutely perfect. And didn’t they do a brilliant job! The day was all they could have asked for. Rain was forecast but the sun came out just in time for their outdoor ceremony. This was due to be by the lake at Ollie’s family home, where she grew up.

Tim and his groomsmen got ready in Kenilworth, followed by fun group photos in front of Kenilworth Castle. Have you ever seen a groom and his groomsmen doing the haka? Well you have now! Ollie got ready with her bridesmaids and the mother of the bride. This was at the family home, on a farm in Warwickshire, where the wedding was taking place.

Ollie and Tim decided to do a first look. A lovely idea and something that we have found isn’t so common in the U.K. This was followed by the ceremony and canapes by the tipi. The wedding breakfast and evening party all took place in Elite Tent‘s tipi.
